Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) are a group of conditions that can affect infants whose mothers consumed alcohol during their pregnancy. It may cause abnormal appearances and many other birth defects. It is believed that 1 to 5% percent of children is born with FASD worldwide.

Ipokrate is observing the FASD Awareness Day to promote public consciousness of the dangers of alcohol consumption during pregnancy.
