The majority of cataracts occur as part of the natural aging process. As you get older, your risk of developing cataracts increases.

Worldwide, cataracts is the leading cause of blindness and is behid 33% of instances of visual impairment. In America, it affects around 24 million people. The good news is that it can be solved with very simple surgery, and more than 95% of surgeries are successful.
