Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Annual Congress of the Royal Belgian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (RBSPRM), taking place in Leuven on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 December 2025.

This year’s central theme, ‘Shaping the Belgian Future with Evidence’, highlights our shared commitment to advancing PRM practice through scientific rigor and innovation. We are proud to present an inspiring programme featuring state-of-the-art talks by national and international experts. And yes the Belgian PRM future is in good hands as around ten young PRM colleagues have completed their doctoral theses this year.

They have all accepted our invitation to present their work across the two days of the congress. These talks will offer concise summaries, with insights that are relevant to both academics and clinicians in private practice. We will also discuss the significant changes to the organisation and funding of our activities that are currently being prepared by the authorities.

Following the success of last year, we will again schedule two workshops on Friday.

The programme will be completed with selected oral presentations and flash poster presentations. Make sure to submit your scientific work: the Call for Abstracts is now open. The submission deadline is 1 September 2025. We look forward to welcoming you to Leuven on 5 and 6 December!
