 Message from the President

As President of the Brazilian Burns Society (SBQ), I am pleased to invite you to our next Biannual Congress, which will be held in Salvador, Bahia, from September 27th to 29th, 2023. This year's theme is "Interdisciplinarity and Innovation ", which reflects our commitment to exploring new ideas and working collaboratively across disciplines to improve outcomes for our patients.

During the three-day event, you will have the opportunity to participate in several sessions covering the latest advances in burns treatment, including plenary talks, symposiums, workshops, free topics and poster presentations. You will hear from leading experts in the field and participate in discussions and debates on topics such as wound healing, pain management, rehabilitation and psychological support for burn survivors.

Our conference is an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues from around the world and build new collaborations. You will have the chance to share your knowledge and experience with others in the field, as well as learn about the latest innovations and research in burns treatment.

Salvador, Bahia is a beautiful and culturally rich city, famous for its history, music and cuisine. We encourage you to take some time to explore all this city has to offer while you're here.

We look forward to welcoming you to Salvador and the SBQ Annual Congress.
Salvador awaits you with open arms!

Sincerely,

Marcus Vinicius Viana da Silva Barroso
President of the Brazilian Burns Society (SBQ)
