The past year has proven again that humans are nothing if not adaptable. This is what medical professionals have learned since COVID-19 became a household word. A year ago, as the novel coronavirus’s devastating effects began to soar, the field of medicine proved that despite its dependence on meeting face-to-face for knowledge-sharing events, the pandemic was not going to stand in their way and that virtual conferences could be a compelling substitute.

IVF-Worldwide was one of the first conferences to blaze the trail online. By the end of 2019, IVF-Worldwide, recognizing that many important ART conferences were in serious jeopardy, scheduled the First IVF-Worldwide Online Congress for April of 2020.
