Congresses

We are pleased to announce the organization of the 6th Seminar on tendon transfers of the upper limb on fresh frozen cadaveric specimens which will take place on September 9th -11th, 2021, in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Despite the difficult circumstances we are facing due to the pandemic of COVID-19, we insist on continuing this series of Seminars which have been established as an institution since the recent years we witnessed a significant increase of interest among surgeons in the tendon transfers of the upper limb.

The meeting will be a chance for the younger colleagues to be informed about the new developments in the field of tendon transfers and for us to meet again and share our experiences from the daily clinical practice.

The Seminar is organized by the Orthopaedic & Traumatology Association of Macedonia and Thrace in cooperation with the 1st Orthopaedic Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, "G. Papanikolaou" General Hospital of Thessaloniki. The theoretical part of the Seminar will be held at the Teloglion Fine Arts Foundation while the educational program on fresh frozen cadaveric specimens will take place at the Laboratory of Anatomy and Surgical Anatomy of AUTH. Despite the distressing situation at the moment, we are optimistic and we look forward to mingle once again with our dear colleagues.

As hosts and organizers we shall spare no effort in making your participation scientifically rewarding and as meaningful as possible. We hope in your active participation.
