With nearly two decades of proven excellence in organizing an innovative skincare platform in Dubai, I am indeed proud to present the 20th edition of the Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference & Exhibition – Dubai Derma, celebrating a major milestone as the largest event in the Middle East, North Africa and Indian Subcontinent region dedicated to dermatology, skin care and lasers. This year we are celebrating 20 years of achievements and global recognition, the scientific program is rich with scientific sessions and new innovative courses.
Today, the skincare, laser and dermatology industry is undergoing significant changes with the influx of new technologies such as smart algorithms soon able to diagnose skin cancer, dermatologists having the ability to consult patients online and the capacity of 3D printers to print out synthetic skin to fight tissue shortages. With such revolutionary changes in the skincare market, we believe that the time has come for dermatology and medical professionals to keep abreast and prepare for these technology changes and the evolving face of dermatology practice.
Meanwhile, the UAE has clearly emerged as a global hub for skin care solutions and the integration of several game-changing technologies in dermatology practice. Additionally, as UAE’s consumers spend more on skin care products than any other country in the Middle East, we believe that the annual scientific and educational skincare platform like Dubai Derma is ideally suited to discuss the latest trends and treatment methods for major skin disorders.
With this in mind, the 20th edition of Dubai Derma conference under the theme ‘Skin Health is Our Concern’ features a rich comprehensive agenda focusing on finding optimum solutions and strategies to prevent the most common and serious skin diseases. While the conference presents a series of discussions through a variety of courses, workshops and lectures on major topics in skincare by leading experts, surgeons and specialists the exhibition provides a great opportunity for major leading skin care brands and companies in the industry to showcase and promote their state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
In conclusion, I take this opportunity to thank our key stakeholders and strategic partners including the biggest dermatology associations, sponsors and exhibitors for their support and wish them a huge success in their future endeavors.
I look forward to seeing you in the 20th edition of Dubai Derma and hope you enjoy your stay in Dubai!
Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani
Executive Chairman, Dubai Derma
