The theme of the 2026 JSSH Annual Meeting is “Gentle Hand Surgery ― Gentle for Patients, Simple for Physicians: Toward a Sustainable Standard.” With the rapid progress of medical technologies, diagnostic and treatment procedures are becoming increasingly sophisticated and complex. This makes it even more important for us physicians to treat patients with gentleness and compassion, and to develop simple and sustainable treatment guidelines which are easy to understand even for young physicians.
