Women in Plastic Surgery - Virtual Autumn Meeting

In these exceptional times, we are being forced to take exceptional measures. That is why we, as organizers, have decided to hold the RBSPS Autumn Meeting for the very first time in a purely virtual setting on Saturday 14 November 2020.

We hope to seduce you with a versatile program with a feminine touch: the topics that captivate us three the most within paediatric, reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery will certainly be covered by fascinating, renowned keynote speakers, what makes us very excited!

As female plastic surgeons, we are in a good position to know that women have different experiences than men during their training, and there is still a lack of same-sex mentors and role models for women in academic surgery. A survey has been drawn up, the results of which will be discussed during the session on gender bias in plastic surgery.
