37.9 million People worldwide live with HIV, and around 23.3 million receive treatment annually. In a year, around a million people die from HIV and around 1.2 million deaths are averted with treatment.

IPOKRATE is celebrating the World AIDS day to raise awareness of those still afflicted with AIDS particularly that this year theme is “Global solidarity, shared responsibility”.
