Medical Assistant (MA)

Coordinates with clinic staff to ensure a positive patient flow, waiting room, and exam room experience. Prepares patients to be seen by physicians or physician assistant. Assists with biopsies, Mohs surgery and any other procedures as directed. Candidate must be proficient with collection, documentation, processing, and verification of information related to patient care in an EMR system. This task is performed through an iPad. Communicates patient concerns and needs to the healthcare provider and provides timely responses to patient inquiries and timely completion of assigned tasks. Must demonstrated ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and via email, as well as ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters.
