Nowadays, more than 40.3 million people in the world are still victims of slavery. Of these, 10 million of them are children, 24.9 million are currently in forced labor, and 15.4 million are married off against their will.

IPOKRATE is observing the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery to raise awareness of modern slavery and of the importance of its elimination.
