Earth is known as blue planet since oceans covers 70 percent of the Earth's surface. It produces over half of the world's oxygen and absorbs 50 times more carbon dioxide than the atmosphere. As part of our environment, and great source of goods and food, it contributes in the world economy and helps its improvement.
